Dalton State Foundation Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of our scholarship donors, the Foundation provides opportunities for Dalton State students. Awards may be based on financial need, academic merit, or a combination of both. Unless otherwise stated, Foundation Scholarships require the recipient to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at the time of application and during the time of the award.

Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship

There is an urgent need for STEM teachers throughout Georgia and our nation. Dalton State juniors and seniors (as of Fall 2022) working toward bachelor’s degrees in a STEM discipline have an exceptional opportunity to apply for a Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship, become a Noyce Scholar and teach in high need local schools including Dalton Public Schools (DPS) and Whitfield County Schools (WCS).

The HOPE Scholarship, funded by the Georgia Lottery for Education, supports academically accomplished Georgia residents by providing financial assistance towards their tuition costs.

The Georgia HERO Scholarship program offers educational scholarship assistance to Georgia National Guard and U.S. Military Reservists who served in combat zones, as well as to their children and spouses.

Offers educational assistance to dependent children of permanently disabled or deceased Georgia Public Safety Officers. These grant funds can be utilized for the cost of attendance at eligible colleges, universities, or technical colleges in Georgia.
