Why did you choose Dalton State? I originally chose Dalton because it was close to home and affordable. I decided to stay after obtaining my associate degree because I fell in love with the campus environment.
What do you plan to do after graduation? Go to law school. I also plan on getting involved in politics and move my way up to being at least governor of a state.
Who is/was your favorite professor and why? Dr. Natalie Johnson is one of my favorite professors because she keeps the class engaged and makes class fun. She also ensures that all of her students learn the material before moving on to any other subject, and she truly wants her students to pass her classes along with actually learning something from her courses. I would recommend her to any student.
What activities are you involved in on campus? Latin American Student Organization, Phi Beta Lambda, Orientation Team and Student Government Association.
Where is your favorite study spot? The study rooms in the library.
What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? My best memory so far is when we won the basketball championship. Seeing all of the students on campus come together was an amazing experience.
What’s on your iPad? Team Android
Favorite comfort food? Brownies
What is your guilty pleasure? I really love being able to take a lazy day
If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would save half, spend a fourth, and use the last of it on college expenses.
What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I would like to learn how to fly a plane. I am an adrenaline junkie.
What cheers you up? Getting a good workout and being outdoors.
What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite childhood memory is having water balloon fights in my yard with neighborhood friends.
What is your favorite app? Pandora, or any app that plays music. I love listening to music.
Where is your favorite place to eat? My favorite place to eat is at Red Lobster. Mainly because of the biscuits and shrimp.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A firefighter
What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? I am very happy to be a part of the Roadrunner Nation. First, I know that the education I am receiving is able to compare and even surpass the education offered at other colleges. The support that comes along with being a Roadrunner not only comes from fellow students, but the professors also support their students and truly want them to succeed. Right now is a great time to be a Roadrunner because of all the transitions in place and new accomplishments that Dalton State is achieving.
