The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program at Dalton State gives you comprehensive learning opportunities geared toward your future in mathematics and prepares you for entry into graduate-level mathematics programs. In this track you will complete a comprehensive selection of mathematics courses, providing insight into the various fields of computation and mathematics. You will enjoy hands-on experience in applied mathematics and real-world problem solving such as undergraduate research collaborations, faculty-lead symposiums in mathematics, and participation in the various math-related clubs and events like Math and Snacks.
The B.S. in Mathematics gives you a broad background in mathematics and prepares you for graduate programs in mathematics as well as careers in both the public and private sectors.
