Why did you choose Dalton State? I like to establish strong relationships with my professors, and Dalton State allows for this since it is a smaller college.
What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? It feels like family, and I have developed a lot of connections here. With the school being smaller than others, it’s easier to keep tight-knit relationships with peers and mentors.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan on working for Junior Achievement in human resources as soon as I graduate. Over time, I will get my master’s and doctorate degrees in business. Also, I plan to apply my skills learned as an entrepreneur minor and open a trivia themed bar.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I’m the captain of the Ultimate Frisbee Club Team. I also help recruit high school students for the business program. During intramural season, I play and referee basketball and flag football.
What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? Aside from frisbee, I enjoy playing trivia at local restaurants.
Where is your favorite study spot? I like to study in upper Pope.
What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? I have so many great memories from the years of being a student here, but here recently I won trivia at one of the CAB events.
Favorite comfort food? Meatloaf
If you had a theme song, what would it be? “On Fire” by Terrell Hines
Favorite line from a movie? “Remember kid, there’s heroes and there’s legends: heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Follow your heart kid and you can never go wrong.” -The Sandlot
If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would donate a large amount of money to Dalton State to construct a large field for the use of recreational sports.
What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I would like to master multiple languages.
