Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose Dalton State College because of their wonderful accredited business program. I also liked the class ratio size. I didn’t want to feel as if I was another number to the professors.

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? My favorite professor was Mary Ann Sasser. She truly helped me find my love for the business world, especially management and why it’s so important.

What activities are you involved in on campus? Head Residential Assistant at Mashburn Hall, Student Conduct Board, Student Government Association Senator, Trew Friends

What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? I think some of my biggest accomplishments at Dalton State would be how involved I’ve become. I have been able to meet such wonderful people while also making an impact.

What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? Some of my favorite activities around Dalton are playing volleyball with a group of locals, hiking the Disney Trail, and playing soccer with friends.

Where is your favorite study spot? The conference room in Mashburn Hall. 

Favorite comfort food? dark chocolate covered almonds and dried mangos

Favorite line from a movie? “And when my eyes are closed, I see you for what you truly are... which is UGLY” -She’s the Man.

What is your guilty pleasure? Sleeping. If anyone knows me, they know I take my sleep time seriously!

What is a skill you’d like to learn and why? I’d like to learn multiple languages. In the future I want to travel around the world and learn different languages to allow me to communicate.

What cheers you up? Mexican food and very close friends

Who is your hero? My mother

Who would play you in the movie version of your life? Hillary Duff. I’ve loved her ever since I was little. How could you not love Lizzy McGuire!

What is your favorite app? The Bravo app. I love Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a dolphin swimmer

As a Roadrunner, what does it mean to Run Boldly? To Run Boldly means to make an impact without the fear of failure. Being at Dalton State has taught me that change is good! Throughout my time at Dalton there has been so many changes, but the changes have been so good, and watching Dalton State grow has been one of my favorite parts.
