Staff Council
The Dalton State College Staff Council serves to foster a spirit of unity, cooperation and loyalty among all Dalton State employees while advancing the mission of the College as a whole.
The council will promote the welfare of staff through the combined creativity of staff representatives from college departments and schools by providing a forum for open communication of ideas on staff issues.
The council will participate in the process of college governance by advising the president regarding matters concerning college staff and general welfare of the college, formulate and recommend policies and procedures related to but not exclusive to staff, create a systematic means for communicating actions and feedback relating to all matters, work with Administrative Council, Faculty Senate and any other groups or bodies on campus to fulfill the aforementioned purposes, and will be responsible for matters of concern as may be assigned to it by the president.
