At Dalton State, we understand that the college transition is a new journey, and we’re all in this together! Our Orientation sessions go beyond being exclusive to just new students. Parents or guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend to learn more about how to support their future Roadrunners. By following a separate schedule designed for guests, you will be equipped with knowledge on campus safety, student support services, financial aid, and many more resources offered to your student.
If you wish to accompany your student on their Orientation day, simply have your student add a guest to their student Orientation registration online!
Guests are still welcome to attend our virtual Orientation. Guests will have their own modules to complete and can join students in the Zoom sessions. The guest fee will be waived for virtual Orientation.
