Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose DSC because of the affordability, and it is a small college campus. Also, it is close to home.

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? For me, being a part of Roadrunner Nation means being confident in myself and confident enough to lead others. Having the support of family, many friends, faculty, and staff on campus really helps with the positive feeling.

Who is/was your favorite professor and why? My favorite professor has to be Dr. Helms. Dr. Helms is the type of professor that wants to see all of her students succeed in school and outside of school. She is also the professor that challenges her students and get out there and meet people from many businesses. She has definitely pushed me to talk to CEOs of various organizations and to be honest, even though I was so heavily involved on campus, talking to someone with that amount of power was scary.

What activities are you involved in on campus? I am involved in Alpha Omicron Pi and ALPFA.

What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? This is a tough one because Dalton is growing and innovating so much every day. So far it is at Crossfit Discernment. They are all legit like family there and I barely started. Another activity I enjoy with my family on some days is golf and other days soccer.

Where is your favorite study spot? My favorite study spot is in my room sitting on my bean bag.

Where is your favorite hangout? I would say Bruster’s ice cream or Hamilton’s Pizzeria because I would be with my sisters from AOII or friends outside of AOII.

Favorite comfort food? My all-time favorite comfort food is molé. It’s a Mexican dish. Fun fact, I’m not even Mexican but my mom knows how to make it.

What is your guilty pleasure? Eating chocolate ice cream

What do you feel most proud of? I am most proud to be able to accomplish what I wanted in school and continue to push myself to be a better person. Also, making my family proud!

If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would buy my own house and car, help my family in any way and save the rest.

What cheers you up? Seeing the impact I have had on others and being a leader

What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite childhood memory would be my first time riding my bicycle without the training wheels and cycling through the woods behind our old home. Good times.

If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? Aristotle

What is your favorite app? My favorite app so far is Wordscapes

Where is your favorite place to eat? Cracker Barrel

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a doctor.

As a Roadrunner, what does it mean to Run Boldly? For me, Run Boldly means to be able to be yourself and have the support to boost your confidence to achieve your goals.
