Transcript orders placed by CURRENT STUDENTS after 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, will not be processed until after end-of-term processing for Fall is complete (approximately 12/18/24). Transcripts marked HOLD FOR DEGREE will not be processed until after degree is conferred (approximately 12/18/24).

Transcripts can be requested online by following the instructions below but are not available at the Registrar’s Office for pick up.


Current Students

Current students will order transcripts by using the Parchment Transcript Request link in their Roadrunner Portal account. After logging in to RR Portal, click on “Students,” then click on “Request Printed or Electronic Transcript” under Personal Information.

Former Students

Former students must have their Dalton State ID # to place a transcript order. If you do not remember your DSC ID #, you can find it at DSC ID LookUp. Once you have your ID #, transcripts can be ordered at https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/33042/institution.

Fees and Processing Time for Official Transcripts

  • Requested Online, Sent Electronically: $10 per transcript; 1-2 business days.
  • Requested Online, Sent via U.S. Mail: $15 per transcript; 7-10 business days.
  • Requested via U.S. Mail (i.e. 2nd party requests): $15 per transcript; 7-10 business days.

Payment

Fees will be paid through the online request process using a credit or debit card. For 2nd party requests or requests made using the Transcript Request Form, payment (check, or money order) must be remitted to Dalton State College at the time of request. Transcript requests will not be processed until payment is received.

Rush Transcripts

There will be a $25 fee per transcript required as RUSH. Such requests should be made in the Office of Enrollment Services. Requests received by noon will be ready for pick-up after 2:30 p.m. the same day. (There will be NO rush transcripts during registration/schedule adjustment and graduation dates.) Payment (cash, check, or money order) must be remitted to the Office of Fiscal Affairs at the time of request. Rush transcripts will not be processed until payment is received.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts are available to current, active students via Roadrunner Portal. After logging in to RR Portal, click on “Students,” then click on “Unofficial Academic Transcript” under Personal Information.

NOTE: Faxed transcripts are considered unofficial. Transcripts emailed to student might be considered unofficial as well.
