UN Goal 17 – Global Partnerships

The UN has developed 17 Sustainable Development Goals for countries across the world to promote prosperity while protecting the planet.

Goal 17 is about revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development. It requires partnerships between governments, the private sector, and civil society.

Some of Goal 17’s target achievements are to:

• Strengthen global partnerships
• Improve cooperation
• Mobilize existing and additional resources
• Create multistakeholder partnerships
• Identify gaps and highlight emerging issues
• Join and create groups in our local community that seek to mobilize action on the implementation of sustainable development goals
