Shaw Industries CEO Visits Dalton State

Vance Bell, the chief executive officer and chairman of Shaw Industries, visited Dalton State recently. He met with students from Dr. Christian Koch’s finance and investment courses and answered questions they had about Shaw and global industry.

Having industry leaders in the classroom is a valuable experience Dalton State strives to give students.

Bell also met with Koch to review Koch’s dissertation topic, “The Warren Buffett Project: A Qualitative Study on Warren Buffett.” Koch presented a copy of his dissertation to Bell and presented a copy for Warren Buffett, CEO and chairman of Berkshire Hathaway. Shaw is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.
