Dalton State College requires all incoming undergraduate and transfer students to complete two online training courses through Vector Solutions. Every student must complete Part 1 and 2 of AlcoholEdu and Part 1 and 2 of Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU).

Timeline and Important Dates

Fall 2024 Students  
All incoming Fall 2024 students are emailed instructions on how to complete the mandatory training courses within one week after attending summer orientation.
 
Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, August 9, 2024.  
 
Part 2 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, September 27, 2024.
Spring 2025 Students
All incoming Spring 2025 students are emailed instructions on how to complete the mandatory training courses by January 8, 2025.
 
Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, January 31, 2025.  
 
Part 2 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, March 7, 2025.

Who is required to take these courses?

What if I completed the course(s) at a different institution?

  • You must complete the course(s) again using your Dalton State credentials.

How long do these courses take?

  • Part 1 of each course takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.
  • Part 2 of each course takes approximately 30 minutes.

What if I am having technical difficulties with the course?

What happens if I have a registration hold

  • You must complete the requirement to have your hold removed. Your hold will be removed within three business days after completing the requirement.
