Dalton State College requires all incoming undergraduate and transfer students to complete two online training courses through Vector Solutions. Every student must complete Part 1 and 2 of AlcoholEdu and Part 1 and 2 of Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU).
Timeline and Important Dates
Fall 2024 Students |
All incoming Fall 2024 students are emailed instructions on how to complete the mandatory training courses within one week after attending summer orientation. |
Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, August 9, 2024. |
Part 2 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, September 27, 2024. |
Spring 2025 Students |
All incoming Spring 2025 students are emailed instructions on how to complete the mandatory training courses by January 8, 2025. |
Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, January 31, 2025. |
Part 2 of AlcoholEdu and SAPU must be completed by Friday, March 7, 2025. |

What if I completed the course(s) at a different institution?
- You must complete the course(s) again using your Dalton State credentials.
How long do these courses take?
- Part 1 of each course takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.
- Part 2 of each course takes approximately 30 minutes.
What if I am having technical difficulties with the course?

What happens if I have a registration hold
- You must complete the requirement to have your hold removed. Your hold will be removed within three business days after completing the requirement.
