Why did you choose Dalton State? I choose Dalton State because it was affordable and close to home.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I want to continue my education and get a master’s in higher education.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I am a student worker for both the Bursar’s Office as well as for the Dean of Students Office. I also have been working with Campus Recreation to bring a women soccer club to campus.
What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? My biggest accomplishments at Dalton State include being inducted as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and working with Garrett Burgner for the soccer club.
What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? I love to hike the Disney Trail!
What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? My favorite memory as Roadrunner Nation was when our basketball team was in the 2015 NAIA tournament. I was working for the Campus Activities Board at the time, and we had a screening of the game. The turnout was great and the spirit was high.
What is the last book you read? “Every Fifteen Minutes”
Favorite comfort food? Buffalo Wild Wings for sure.
If you had a theme song, what would it be? “I Don’t Want to Be” by Gavin DeGraw
Favorite line from a movie? My favorite movie lines all originate from “The Notebook.” If I had to pick one it would be: “You can’t live your life for other people. You’ve got to do what’s right for you, even if it hurts some people you love.”
What is your guilty pleasure? Chips, chips, chips!
What do you feel most proud of? I’m most proud of the close relationship that I have with my family.
What cheers you up? Eating and taking a nap after.

Who would play you in the movie version of your life? Sophia Bush, I love her character in “One Tree Hill.”
What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite childhood memory is my dad carrying me on his shoulders. I felt on top of the world!
What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? Being a part of Roadrunner Nation means everything to me. It is full of support and opportunities. It has definitely been a positive turning point in my life.
