The Derrell C. Roberts Library provides an extensive collection of resources.

The Archives Collection houses photos, newsletters, yearbooks, and other significant materials relating to the history of Dalton State College.  In addition to these items, rare and signed editions of books published by Georgia authors are available in the Archives.

The Bandy Center Collection includes documents, artifacts and exhibits related to the region’s historic resources.

The Childhood Education Collection includes curriculum, fiction and non-fiction titles for use in teaching K-8 students.

The Circulating Collection includes books available to be checked out to library users.

The Government Documents Collection holds numerous authoritative studies and informational documents published by various federal agencies.

The Media Collection is made up of audio-visual materials including audio recordings, video recordings, and filmstrips.

The Microfilm Collection includes back issues of magazines, journals and newspapers stored on microfilm.

The Periodical Collection contains print publications such as professional journals, magazines, newsletters and newspapers.

The Reference Collection includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, literature criticism collections and general reference works.   

The Repository Collection contains publications by DSC faculty, staff and students.
