Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose Dalton State because my family went here, and I know the English program would be challenging and rewarding.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan to start my own magazine with some friends. We hope to write about different forms of media and entertainment such as movies, video games, anime, and literature!
Who is/was your favorite professor and why? It’s really hard to choose. There are so many fantastic professors in the English Department. However, Dr. Lydia Postell is my favorite. She is very friendly and always supportive. She helps out students whenever she can and she has done a fantastic job as my advisor.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I am a Roadrunner Student Ambassador! I love working with my team.
Where is your favorite study spot? My favorite study spot is the library. I walk upstairs and nab a chair then get to work, or fall asleep halfway through.
Where is your favorite hangout? I love the cafeteria honestly. It’s always so active and I love the open space it provides.
What is the last book you read? The last book I read was Horus Rising by Dan Abnett
Favorite comfort food? My favorite comfort food is chips and salsa.
If you had a theme song, what would it be? The Quick and The Blue by the Megas
What is your guilty pleasure? My guilty pleasure is binge watching really bad horror movies on Netflix.
What do you feel most proud of? I feel most proud of placing 16th out of 80 people at the Mystery Tournament at Combo Breaker 2016. It was my first tournament showing and I placed relatively high.
If you could only keep five possessions, what would they be? My great-grandma’s crucifix, my necklace, my Raidou Kuzunoha vs King Abaddon collector’s edition, my laptop, and my Fozzie Bear hat.
Who would play you in the movie version of your life? Tommy Wiseau.
If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet? I would love to meet Theodore Roosevelt.
What is your favorite app? Either Magnazone, Cytus, or Snapchat.
Where is your favorite place to eat? I love Carrabbas but most of the time I settle for Taco Bell.
What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? What it means for me to be part of the Roadrunner Nation is to be part of a large community of likeminded people who all have each other’s best interest at heart. We are more than a community; we are a nation.
