The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History (secondary certification option) is designed to prepare you for a career teaching history at the secondary education level. The degree requires coursework in both U.S. and world history and includes three semesters of field experience in the classroom with a fourth semester dedicated to a teaching internship. Coursework is designed to prepare you to excel as a teacher and to provide the skills you need in research, writing, communication, interpretation and analysis.
