The Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology degree prepares you to gain a long-term career position in the fields of information technology or technology management. You will have opportunities to gain knowledge of advanced concepts of technology in the areas of computer networking, Linux operating systems, computer programming, network security, database administration, web development, and hardware maintenance, as well as the managerial experience to oversee projects in each area.

Courses within the B.A.S. degree also prepare you to gain advanced certifications in managerial and technological subjects, giving you improved opportunities for beneficial employment assignments or to land promotions within your current profession.
