Dalton State College and Dade County Schools have formalized a new partnership designed to cultivate the next generation of educators while supporting long-term workforce development in Northwest Georgia.
Thaw selected as new dean for School of Health Professions at Dalton State
Kurt Thaw has been selected as the new dean for Dalton State College’s School of Health Professions, effective July 1. Thaw will come to Dalton State with more than 27 years of experience at Millsaps College, where he has served as a faculty member and held progressive leadership roles.
Dalton State expands operating hours to better serve students and families
Dalton State’s main campus is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some offices offering extended hours. Dalton State’s Mountain Campus in Ellijay is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
