Explore Zhengzhou, China for an educational Summer experience. This program will be more than two weeks long. There are two courses that are available for those interested in education. Educ2110: Current and Contemporary Issues in Education and Educ3124: Exploratory Activities in Physical Education, Art, and Music. Both courses taught by instructor: Molly Zhou.

Mexico  (March 9-17, 2018)

Students will have the opportunity to work with children from Mexico while teaching the different genres of literature. Students will cover content for the course during the evening hours in a classroom with access to a computer lab. Two courses offered: Children's Literature and ESOL Culture and Education.

Costa Rica   (March 9-17, 2018)

Small group experience; experience another country during your spring break. Minimal disruption to your academic life; experience the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose; experience teaching in the Cloud Forest. It will be hosted by the UGA Cost Rica facility there. Ride on one of the World's Longest Zip Lines! Complete two short session courses: BIOL 1105K: Enviornmental Studies and BUSA 2106: Environment of Business or BUSA 4851: Doing Business in Costa Rica. Open to all students.

London     (May 16-31, 2018)

Read Chaucer and travel to Canterbury. Read Shakespeare and tour the Global Theatre. Study ancient cultures and view their art firsthand at the British Museum. Learn about Henry VIII and follow his footsteps at Hampton Court. Students will have the opportunity to earn 3-6 credit hours of Gen. Ed. requirements while studying early British literature and/or world cultures firsthand through visits to historical sites and cultural artifacts. Courses available: English 2120 and Humanities 1201. Taught by Dr. Kerri Allen and Professor Mahoney.

Live and study for five weeks in Ireland’s oldest city! See the cultural, artistic, and historical treasures which have made Ireland a destination for generations!  Waterford, once a walled settlement of Viking origins, retains much of its medieval character together with graceful cathedrals and townhouses from its 18th century expansion. Dalton State Affiliated Programs


 

Knowledge Exchange Institute (KEI) has an affiliated agreement with Dalton State. Students who enroll in one of their study abroad programs will receive $500 discount on program fee and application fee waiver, and will be eligible for its study abroad scholarship. KEI currently offers summer study abroad programs in the following countries: China (Beijing), Ecuador (Guayaquil), England (London), France (Paris), India (Pune), Ireland (Dublin), Italy (Milan), Japan (Akita), Kenya (Nairobi), Peru (Lima & Cuzco), Russia (Moscow), Scotland (Edinbburgn), Spain( Barcelona), Tanzania (Dar es Saam), Thailand (Bankok), and Turkey (Istanbul). KEI also offers many internship programs as well.


International Studies Abroad (ISA) has an affiliated agreement with Dalton State.
